Through our long-standing partnerships with leading metal service centers, Kaiser Aluminum’s products and experience are counted on for a wide variety of industrial end-market applications.

Our products can be found in everything from military vehicles to manufacturing cells for semiconductors and electronic devices. Aluminum’s light weight, strength, conductivity, and corrosion resistance enable it to support a wide range of end market applications. Nearly all of our products must also stand up to the demands of further fabrication, and require superior machinability, structural strength and often critical mechanical or ballistic properties.

Helping advance medical technology

The concept of using freezing techniques to control pain has been around since the ancient Greeks, but modern technology has taken it to a whole new level. Cryotherapy, as it’s called, was originally developed as a treatment for cardiac arrhythmias, but is now being used by pain management experts to temporarily block pain by freezing specific nerve pathways during medical procedures.

So, while most of us think of large applications for aluminum – cars, aircraft and construction materials – some of the most critical applications for the aluminum we produce are tiny. Our facility in Chandler, Arizona produces the aluminum tubing used to make the Cryo nerve block device possible.
